La Costa in La Paz

My husband and I met a fellow nomad and his wife for dinner last night in La Paz. La Costa Restaurant was their choice and boy was it a good one. It is at the end of 5 de Febrero. When you reach the water take a right and it is down a little ways on the left, right on the water. A beautiful setting and the food was wonderful. We had fried oysters, huachinango, pescado Veracruz and crab salad. Everthing was great. The crab salad was prepared the way it often is in Baja with Veg-all, but the crab was fresh and tasty.(Malarrimo also prepares their seafood salads that way. I try to remember to ask when I order, as terrific fresh seafood with canned vegies does not ring my chimes.)
We started the evening with a toast to JR. And ended it with Margaritas...well 3 of us did.
Great to have a new place to eat in La Paz.
