Grocery store in Tecate?

I'll be in Tecate next week and need to find a large Grocery store for provisions. I ussually just drive through on the way to KOA or Santa Veronica.

Chase Trucks? ??
We don\'t need no stinking chase trucks!

Don't know about a grocery store, but there is a really good bakery on the main drag near the park. It's so good it'll make an Atkins dieter cry to walk past and smell it.

All my childhood I wanted to be older. Now I\'m older and this chitn sucks.

As you cross into Tecate drive to the second light and go left then right at the next light, the park is on the right. Take the first left and the store is a block or two. To be truthful I'm going from memory, but it's in that area. I thought it was a Calimax, but maybe not. Also as you go east, after passing the new turn to return to the USA the road turns right up and over a slight rise and down then turns left and there is a mercado on the right.

Indeed - Panaderia "El Mejor Pan de Tecate". Just east of the park, about 1-2 blocks.

After crossing the Border continue South (Hwy 3) past the park and RR tracks. As you head up the hill toward the Cuota there's a glorieta. Turn right, (West). There's a shopping center about 1/2 mile* on your right. It has a large grocery store. I think it's a Calimax.

*<This is from memory. It may be more/less than a 1/2 mile but keep going until you hit it.>
