Alright guys---------

this just shows you all how razor-sharp my memory is. Jeeeeeeze, with these new-fangled GPS thingy's a guy can't get away with anything anymore.

I will concede that my memory after 9 years just ain't as accurate as I thought it was. Thanks for keeping me honest.

Lou, I think that the corral you mention must be the one that we camped beside, but I sure thought it was closer to the hot springs, and the radical bend in the canyon, than that.

Now, did I mention the camels that we saw drinking from the springs???

Lou, if they are building cabanas at the hot springs, does that mean they bulldozed a road there too?

David, I havent been up there yet this season so am getting info from friends that have. From Randy - the article I quoted - the road goes to about the start of the "farm" and then has a rope across with "No Vehicles beyond here" sign so they have extended it for some distance anyway. He also mentioned construction materials in the area. A local Mexican friend is the one telling me about the cabanas. He is not involved in the project so didn't know how extensive the changes would be.

This is a test to see if I can link in a screen capture showing the actual GPS racks Jim and I make going in and out.

We stopped at the fence.

Couldn't get the link to work so here's a reduced view
