Deveau's 50th, Overview

I just got back from 50th Birthday Party/Adventure to Mike's and San Felipe with 42 of my closest friends. I have to return to San Diego to pick-up Gary who is doing a little R&R at the Grossmont Hospital.

I'll work on a full report when I return, but as a tease it involves; Mas tequila, Dust, a 102 HP Dirtbike, looping said 102 HP Dirtbike, Kids on DirtBikes, Fireworks, a Dust Storm, Rain, and a ride in a Mexican Ambulance.

I have also asked some others on the trip to post from their perspective, as my sister said " I thought we were going to just look at the desert from the road, not drive right thru it!"

Chase Trucks? ??

Well glad you survived it - sort of.

Looking forward to the trip reports!

You were with an excellent group as far as I observed at the El Capitan hotel. A friendly and fun bunch for sure. A 102 HP dirtbike sounds more like a rocket ship I'd stay off.

I saw that 950 KTM, it was the first bike from the group to roll into Mikes; or should I saw, hum? It sounded sweet. I was wondering why the guy was completely soaked on a beautiful day. Then I realized that if I was crossing the Mikes creek on that bike, I would be too. ;-)
