If anyone can provide a link to that article... I would appreciate it. Francisco Munoz flew Erle Stanley Gardner* over Baja on many occaisons in the 1960's. I have some photos of Munoz at http://choralpepper.com from those years.

* Gardner is the creator of Perry Mason.

If you look in the upper right corner of page 67 you will see, in very small print "Originally published in the Reader on September 21, 1995. Several of the stories in the Reader have been recycled recently. Budget cuts I guess.

Mike, there are many used book sites that we use to add to our Baja collection... AddAll.com has several Baja books, for example.

I have several photos showing Captain Mu?oz at http://ChoralPepper.com a couple were used in Gardner's books... or taken at the same time.

Here is one showing Mu?oz (on the left) expressing himself with Dr. Carlos Margain... who was the archeologist Erle Stanley Gardner had Mu?oz fly into San Ignacio to show him the new (and old) discoveries in the nearby mountains...

Don johnson is a close personal friend of the Capitan and has relayed several munoz stories/"yarns" to me......what a guy!
