Try Calebs in the plaza for breakfast or brunch; Tio Pablos for dinner or happy hour; or any of the outdoor taco places at gringo "meal times".
Also Buzzards (plaza also) for happy hour. Salud!

Caleb's
No cervesas, but Buzzards is 40 feet away if you want to continue a conversation with someone you meet.

The Palmas taco place, also known as "Papas", up the hill from Tio Pablo's.
Wind surfers, young and not so young, gringos and a whole lot of very nice mexicans. Cross culture at its best and the greatest damn twice baked
potatoes on the East Cape.

Thanks for all the suggestions!
Just returned from another wonderful adventure in Baja Sur!
Had great margaritas at Buzzard's, great breakfast at Caleb's, and many others! Can't wait to get out of the rain and cold and enjoy that Baja
'warmth' again soon!

Any beach on the east cape with a large campfire, lots of comida, and a bunch of my surly local friends who, when approached by an unfamiliar gringo,
will cross their arms, arch their back, and with a little squint in their eye, utter..........nothing........
Ah, the solitude of the east cape.......
que honda, ese?
