There were two reasons *not* to return it:

1) Security risk for spamming/spammer targeting/tactics.
2) Not easy to upgrade the board software after creating a hack such as that.

Candidly, I had hoped that maybe with time, it wouldn't be felt to be that bad of a loss.

However, with your request at this time, I've looked into a stand-alone script (addresses item #2) with some security measures (addresses item #1) to implement. I think I found one in the past day that should work, and - as time allows me - I'll try to put it in.
