Water fun

On our honeymoon we went to La Paz and snorkled with manta rays and whale sharks, I got a few photos with one of those throw away underwater cameras. It was exciting to be in arms reach of a 35 foot fish!:)

Well, post that underwater picture!

Go get that picture digitized and post it, please! That's one of the really cool things available on this board, the ability to post photos.

where in la paz?

Hey
I'd like to know where you where in la paz when you saw the whale shark, and how far offshore.
Thanx

We were about 200 yards off shore of El Mogote. It was October 1999. It was great. We were on a boat with Baja Adventures. Someone on the boat hired a small plane to spot the whale sharks. We got up close and personal with a 30 footer then we found one that was 45 feet. We were on a boat that was 42 feet.
We also swam with seals and giant manta rays. It was the best honeymoon I ever had! :bounce:
