crossing at san ysidro


i will be crossing next week and will stop and ask about the form. i will have a small boat with me. will be back mid march and will let you know. i may get to an internet cafe, if so, i will post a reply sooner. sorry about the new subject, could not find where to post a reply to an existing topic. where is that? thanks.

if I remember right the visa offive is not the place...

it's another department
there is a building just away from the border that does the boat stuff.

It's not supossed to be a very safe area...

take san ysidro exit(805) and turn right, go under the 5 overpass(left) and you will see a yellow building on your right just past the stop light. there you can get your boat permit and fishing license if you need one. good luck:coolup:

Fandango. If your presently anywhere near Rio Vista (Bay area) stop by Vagabundo del Mar travel club. That is where I purchased my boat permit & fishing license for years, and didn't have to deal with the "rig a ma role" of getting it at the border. Membership fee is $35.00 a year. And one of the "bargains" of club membership. If you had more time, you could do it over the phone, give them your credit card number & renew forever, and they will mail your papers to you. Unless something has changed, you can get your visitors pass from them also. (though we are on FM3 status now)
