Serindad crashes....been quite a bunch.

But then, it's a party-place for small planes! I've seen a few crashes, heard about many, and thankfully know of very few fatalities.

Here's a photo of a memorable crash at the Serindad between an incoming plane and an outgoing pickup. See the dent in the pickup's top. Yup, the unwary driver.. (who I should not name but now lives in Thailand. Hi'ya Ranger Roy! Staying off those Bangkok runways?).. drove his pickup blindly out onto the strip right when this low-wing was landing...Whammo!... Nobody seriously hurt, thank Bacchus. Ranger Roy managed to hold on to his beer through it all...although the pilot may have spilled his.

The federales and army had a field day writing tickets, collecting fines, having drinks at the hotel bar, etc. Another great day in Mulege. You gotta love this place!
