Fuel prices for March 2006....

Hi everyone, here you have the prices for this month:

Magna.............$ 6.25 pesos per liter
Premium..........$ 7.38 pesos per liter
Diesel..............$ 5.13 pesos per liter

These prices are in liters, and 1 gallon = 3.7854 liters.

Today (March 1st) 1 dollar = $ 10.30 pesos (+/-)

Using the previous information, this is what we have....

Magna............$ 2.296 dollars per gallon
Premium.........$ 2.712 dollars per gallon
Diesel.............$ 1.885 dollars per gallon

Happy travels my friends...

If you drive through San Diego County, expect to see $2.589 as the lowest (Costco/ Arco)... $2.75 is the average at company stations near major roads... The Shell station at Palomar Airport Rd. and I-5 (west side), Carlsbad has had 'good prices' for a while (new owners) and was $2.62 yesterday...

Only if what they buy is tied to the US dollar.

Expect to pay about 1 peso per liter more in the border towns - keeping pace with the US prices at the border. In Mexicali, magna is 7.2 or somthing like that - at least it's more than 7 peso per liter.
