what is that statue?....


Off toll road at about K 45 there is a BIG statue in the hills...something new to me.....looks like the one in Rio de Jenero that they always photograph....what is it?

If you mean the one south of Rosarito, Somebody that lives over there, toldme that it is a Jesus Christ statue over a chapel.

Took some pic's a couple of months ago...I'd sure hate to own a casa BELOW that statute! It is soooo Big, that it's downright SPOOKY to view it from the road below...kinda gives one the creeps! It just doesn't look all that secure to me! We heard that the artist took years to plan and erect the statue, then died soon after? Anyone know the real story?
