My buddy always brings cheap cigars on our trips but this time he picked a winner: "Spirit of Cuba" made by Alex. I believe they were the cudura size. These will set you back less that $30 for a bundle, are banded and are a great rookie cigar. I ended up smoking those for the trip until we ran out and switched to my $5 smokes. I generally smoke Astons, but if I'm to bring 50 cigars I can save over $200 if half of them are Spirit of Cubas.

What was I thinking???

Jeez, I really have nothing to contribute to a disscussion on cigars! :?:

But I really do love Cuba. So maybe I should start a Cuba thread... but it wouldn't be about Baja and would have to go off topic, and then it would get ugly...

Say... anyone know of a good Cuba forum I could join?

How long before Fidel dies or is killed?

If it is such a (socialist) paradise, why does he fear free elections or personal freedoms for Cubanos? Surely if everyone loves communism there (as has been reported) they will naturally keep Fidel and his thugs in power, no?

Fidel should retire and go fishing. But he'll need a new fishing partner.

Hey, I may be some radical crazy with Fidel and Che in my avatar, but my Cuban cigar entered the US legally!

David K.

A person can love Cuba and not think highly of Fidel.

Nuff said-- don't want to get off-topicy here! No more cigar talk for me...:saint::tumble:
