North of San Felipe...what's the area?
This area is between Cerro Lagrimas de Apache and Cerro el Chino:

It looks like a mini Colorado River area...
has, homes, docks, etc. Didn't look like anyone was out on the river:

Juan, /That's the rio hardy river. the last photo with the horsehoe lake is Campo Mosqueda. Jesse has been there 30 years. it use to be a cat fish
farm. The last camp up river is Campo felix. It is about eight miles up where the water heads south for about a half mile. I have a house there. The
people there are about half wakeboarders and half hurters and fisherman. Thanks for the photos

P.S. Say hi to Jim Dandy for me if you see him

How is the boating & fishing in this area during the summer ? I always pass it up on the way to San Felipe and I live very close (El Centro). I
recently bought an older bayline 17ft family type boat to use at the Colorado river near Yuma. I would be willing to give this place a try for a
weekend or day trip. Please give me some more info. Can you get out to the river from Mosquedia ? Thanks Paul

You can put your boat in at Campo mosqueda and you could go about 20 miles up river in 12-15 feet of water depending on the time of year. The water is
runoff from mexicali and surounding areas. My neighbor had it tested and it was cleaner (less toxic) than the water at hidden shores. It is a little
brackish. The river is netted quite abit but I have seen some fish caught and see some people fishing.
no matter where you come in you could launch your boat. most camps have launches as do most houses. the people are friendly and would be glad to let
you use theirs. Tunaeater. if your going down let me know if I'm at my place you would be welcome to use our ramp and beach. We are at the northern
end I can give you the directions . Were glad to have nomads stop by if were home.
