Baja from San Diego
I will be traveling with one other person to Baja from San Diego from Dec 26 to the 30th. Any suggestions on where to go (within reasonable time frame
under 10 hours) and how to travel? Bus, ferry... etc. We will not have transportation of our own but would be willing to share gas expenses with
anyone traveling there. This is our first time to Baja! Yeahoo!

bus's
Are you staying in hotels or living out of back packs? If hoteling it take a greyhound to calexico walk across to mexicali take taxi to bus depot and
head to san felipe. Since you only have four days this will be your best bet for some kind of warm weather and relaxation. fishin rich

A fun 5-day adventure, with relative ease of logistics is to take the bus from Tijuana to Mulege (ABC bus line). From there, you can take a tour to
the pictographs, rent a kayak, go fishing, snorkeling, shopping, good food. You could take a taxi to Bahia Conception for a day - the day you first
set eyes on this, is a day you won't forget. It's about 12 hr. drive to Mulege but since you're not doing the driving - but sightseeing, I think
you'd appreciate the scenery of "real Baja." Pack light, take the trolley to the border, taxi for $10 to the bus station. Start early, bring a book.
