Don
Is that where all those people died in the bus?
Somewhere between La Paz and Constitucion?

Judy, that was my first thought when I went into the church. Don thought it was a more general altar for highway safety.
Our neighbors knew most of the people on that bus. It was a PRD charter, and the accident was in April of 2005. A group was going to La Paz for a meeting about Agundez' campaign. I'll ask my neighbor what she knows about it.
The church is just south of Las Pocitas, on the left side of the highway.

Yes it looks very familiar. However, I believe that it has a new paint job. Seems to me that it used to be blue.
Will definitely stop the next time to see the inside.
Great photos!

Yours too Cardon

One neighbor says that there have been many accidents on that stretch, and that the painting is general, dealing with no specific event.

Judy, that is the same church in the painting, before this new paint.

Cardon, very nice work adding more light and color!
