Q for Baja Judy

Judy, I can't remember if Mariscos Sandy in San Jose is closed on Mondays.

We're on our way to La Paz, but we'd certainly head into Sandy's first- if they're open.

Any word on when "they" are going to daylight the new marina?

We're coming back to SJD at the end of Sept for a week, any chance it'll be done by then?

Thanks M_!

Sandy's is closed on Tuesday.

End of Sept....I doubt it.

No word. Apparently they have no intention of telling anyone when they are going to open up the mouth as they are afraid that people will come to watch and get hurt by the blast.

They havent even started the 3rd jetty, although they have almost finished the rocks on the side of the marina right there where it will be.

As mentioned before, the swimming is wonderful where the pangas come and go between the jettys. However, dont go when the boats are coming back from a day of fishing as some of the people put the fish guts into the water. We have been swimming there everyday until two days ago when my husband got stung by a jelly.

BTW The white vinegar treatment works completely...no pain and no itch.
