Bruce,

I saw two of those trucks passing tru Todos Santos about a week ago, on their way to the San Lucas-San Jose area, as far as i know, there isnt any power plants being build in Los Cabos, but there is a large goverment desalination project being built.

My money is still on the desalination plant.

Bruce

I have to disagree with you, if you look at the second picture on the right you will see a box with 4-5 push button switches probably for starting and stopping motors. Transformers have no moving parts. I'm with Jesse.

comitan that is only part of the transformer they will finish putting it together when they git it set into position. it will have several rows of heat exchangers running down all sides with electric fans blowing through them. it will be filled with a special liquid and it will be pumped through the radiators by electric pumps. there will be so much stuff hanging on it that you wont be able to see the transformer.

Bruce

You convinced me, those push button switches are probably for fans, but no the fans would be automatic. You would think that working in Substation dept. for PGE for over a year, and walking by those things every day I should know????
