Maria & Bill in Loma Azul re Mel Humes

My first message in regards to Mel Humes had 50 people looking at it with no response. Mel's "handle" on the VHF Net is "Old Gringo". He is also very good friends with Maria and Bill who live in Loma Azul. Does anyone know them and can ask them if he is ok? Mulege is a small town. Someone has to know something. Thank you for any information I can get. Would like to hear from Mel, if possible.
