Since I can no longer bookmark Fred Metcafs board I have also deleted Sundog, unless I am doing something wrong, and you can set me straight.

Comitan,

You may be correct, just not "politically" correct.

Although Fred's board has recently been a bit low on activity, over the years it has been a great source of information for beginning Baja travelers.
There are still a few knowledgeable souls who frequent Fred's board and provide what little info is requested. I, for one, am glad the alternative is still there and hope that someone picks up the torch when Fred decides to retire from board-dom.

Now Sundog ?? Seems that's more a place to snatch the sites you may want to use and ignor the rest. Not really a place to click on more than once a year.

Sundog has a nice collection of links, I am just curious as to why you never 'leave' Sundog when you navigate to other web sites from there?

I have a list of Baja message board/forum web sites at http://vivabaja.com/davidsmessage.html and http://www.vivabaja.com/davidslinks.html when you click on any one, you go to the new web site... ie. you are not heald at vivabaja.com while viewing other sites. Maybe Don can explain why it is set up that way on his site?

What I am saying is to log onto Freds board I have to go into Sundog first< I guess Sundog is looking for hits. I like Freds board been using for some time. Previously I could go directly to Freds Board, Now my bookmark will only let me go to Sundog then Freds Board. I hope this is finally clear.

Why not save Fred's URL and go there directly? It is: http://math.ucr.edu/~ftm/bajaPages/MsgBoard/MsgBoard.html

Whew!!! Glad we got all that cleared up.
I was afraid that my ability to go straight to Fred's was some kind of anomoly, guess I am o.k.

Fred's place is a wonderful refuge when things "get stupid" on other boards...... (ahem.....)

Have been camped there several times in the past while I waited for civility to return to other (unnamed) sites.
