Read an article from the San Diego paper regarding the new Wal-Mart in TJ on another board that stated the Ensenada store would open "next month"....don't know if that means November or December.

well, from everyone in the area we have an opening date of anywhere from tomorrow until Nov 15. We think any minute now as it is READY. Carts are in the lot, all the signs up. The signs (not literally speaking) read no later than Nov 1...will post an update if we hear anything.

hey, we hate it as much as the next guy, probably more, and we'll probably NEVER shop there but the reality is folks here, Mexicanos and Americanos alike, are chomping at the bit for opening day....

If the Wal-Mart here is comparable to the ones in the states, it should reduce traffic at SY and Otay by 30%.
