Cool change

Hey all, started a new web site with the help of my wife and its http://www.ultimatebaja.com . And to complement this site we will have a weekly radio show called Ultimate Baja Radio were you will be able to listen in to the live broadcast, ask questions of me or our special guests, get Baja event information, hotels, restaurants, travel info and so on and so on. It's very exciting for me to be able to do this. Cool change is a song from the Little River Band that i feel fits well with the change we are making. The radio show will air live every wednesday at 6PM PST (San Diego / Tijuana time) and will also be archived. The first show will be tomorrow evening so I sure hope you can tune in and maybe we can chat. You just have to go to http://www.ultimatebaja.com , click on Ultimate Baja Radio and it will take you step by step from there.
Saludos and happy listening,
Fernadetijuana

I would just once like to see a Baja website that gave info based on what is good for the traveler. most if not all only give info on the hotels and restaurants that pay them for add space or belong to Friends. for example how can anyone give travel info for the rosearito area and not mention Dave's New York Deli even if you don't like the owners you owe it to your readers to let them know about the best places in the area. I hope you can accomplish this on your site fdt. you are off yo a good start and I love the radio idea I will be listening to you.

Hi everyone, this is MrsFtd. I felt too lazy to log in on my own user name. So im under Mr FTD's name. Im the one doing all the content and site so I would love to hear more on what you would like to see on there.
BR Leech I will look into Dave's New York Deli and post some info on it soon on the Rosarito Page. If you like I would also love to hear a review , would be nice to add that too. Or maybe add a comment area to each section. Maybe i'll have Fer drive down there and talk to guy.....I dont know. But it would be cool. Either way. I know Fer would love to personally go to each place and find out the info first hand.....then call it "business" Ha Ha

This is a task im finding a little daunting. There are so many hidden and wonderful places in Baja and it will take time to get them on the site. I think it's going to take years and will never be finished. LOL
I didnt want to do a canned site of stuff you can find on any other site. I wanted to make an actual tool we could all use. Like for example, whats the weather like in Santa Rosalia, Id like to head down for the weekend.......... A quick check on no major catastrophies and Im on my way.
Either way any of you can email me with request for anything you would like to see on the site. Right now it's a skeliton site with search really and nothing of what it will be.

I think the best and most useful site is the one where the actual traveler has input. Then you know it's really what you want.
A little bit of baja Sunshine to all of you.

One suggestion is maybe one or 2 more categories added to Tijuana Rosarito Ensenada San Felipe Los Cabos La Paz .there is a lot of Baja between Ensenada and La Paz in fact most of Baja Ca. that you have not included .

Thanks Bruce

I apreciate the input and Simone has added a backroads link were all that will be. On last nights first edition of blupers and blunders Baja radio show, I mentioned precisely that and your name also as you recomended Daves deli, because most or the vast majority of Baja California travelers are visiting by land. Stay tuned,
saludos
