The kids had a blast. A few melt downs, but hey, they're all 2 to 4, and can't always be little
We camped in the vicinity of Guadalupe Canyon. About 35-40 miles south of Highway 2 on the west side of the Laguna Salada.

Nice pictures---looks like you had a lot of fun with the babies. What a great place to let them run wild.
A few melt downs? With that many little ones, I would say you were real lucky to have only a FEW.
Thanks for the pictures

Kids in baja
Ray Cannon's favorite baja journey was what he called 'the kid's trip'. 15 children and a 70 yr old man.
There is no substitute for a 6 year old's enthusiasm for life. They are a great addition in any trip and they force you to appreciate things which you
have long ago taken for granted. The kids in those pictures look to be at the perfect age for companionship.
The age old question is 'what are the best ages of our lives?'. I've decided that they are from 5 to about 12.
Thanks for the pictures Taco de Baja.

Taco-----
really great pics, and happy kids!!!
Camping in the boulders outside Guadalupe Canyon is the best------clean sand, huge boulders to poke around-----great Indian artifacts and grinding
holes, pictographs, and tons of neat things to see and do---------I love that place. First camped there in 1959----many times since.
Thanks for sharing your experience with the trooper kids.

Six Years Old....
that would be an age to consider if given the choice of staying one age forever....My little six year old (pictured)
Love her to death...her favorite question: "when are we going to Baja??"

Wonderful expression
She looks cold. Although I have never seen a 6 year old willfully come out on her own.
Forget getting them out on the cortez side. I finally gave up and just started shooting pictures. The only thing that finally gets them out at San
Lucas Cove are the blue jellyfish.

It's actually not Vibora, but is immediately south. A "smaller" box canyon. We attempted to hike up to the palms in Vibora, but with some of the kids
slowing us down came within 1/2 mile, but ran out of energy. Saw no water in Vibora on the hike, as in years past....very dry down there.
My dad always called Vibora "Ruby" as that is apparently that is what it went by in the early days. Newer maps show it as Vibora. Luckily we saw no
viboras, although the temps were perfect for them
