rts,

Where does one stay in Abreojos with a camp trailer, kids and dogs ?
Where can I launch my truck-topped 14 footer ?
Any additional "locals" info would be appreciated.

Diver

Camping is anywhere along the beach between town and Camp Rene.

Launching can be done in any of the coves if the water is not too rough (generally calm this time of year). Otherwise campo Rene (Estero de Coyote) is easy.

Beach/Shore fishing was real good all of Nov (halibut and corvina), lots of large sand bass just off-shore, and the yellows were biting out about 5 miles.

In town talk to Martin at the tire store or ask for Glenn AKA Whistler(across the street and down a little). or out at the point talk to any of the Americans who might be home. I'll be back there 23 Dec so stop and say hi if you are still there.
