Bakery in Santa Rosalia
Last time we were there, we had a very hard time finding the most fabulous little bakery.
If was way off on some side street. We ended up following some locals there. Does anyone know if it is still there? Hours of operation and
directions of how to get there??
I guess it would be too much to ask if anyone has GPS coordinates???

...it's in the center of town...on the one way main street heading away from the water...it's on your right hand side...can't miss it...

It's still there - and has the best bolillos! Carb counters stay away, for you will go off your diet at this place.

Right after you turn off as described above, there is a restaurant, Tercos Pollito that I really like. It is not cheap, but we think it is very good
and they have lots of antiques from the mining days.
My DH loves squid and I don't like it. However, at this restaurant they serve their chips with a creamed squid dip that is delicious!.
Then walk on down the same street and you will find the bakery on the same side of the street. After we eat, I always need the walk to help undo the
damage from lunch, and the ensuing damage caused by the bakery.

I believe the bakery she is talking about is the one up the hill as you come into town from the north. Turn right at the big green building and take
it all the way to the top. The baker used to work at the one downtown but he left and opened his own store.

Bought my First Boletos at the Original Bakery on my First Trip across the Ferry in 1969. It is still the greatest!!
Take time and go look into the BackDoor and see all the very Old Equipt. that is being used to make that Great Bread. It is a Shocker to watch the
Giant Wheels being turned by a Large Belt.
Sure wish I had some Bolteos to go with my Possum Soup and Candied Sweet Taters for New Years. Goes great with the Black-Eyed Peas{Which I have every
New Years Day to bring me Good Luck the rest of the Year}!!

yes, turn right at the big green building. There will be a pollo asado place across the street. Go all the way up the hill, turn right, it is in the
middle of the block on the left. Bread is hot at 8 and 1. Be on time or it is all gone. Taste is same as Bolleo used to be.

The big green building that Minnow is talking about is a wholesale grocery and is on the North side of Santa Rosalia. If you get to the Marina you
have gone too far. If you have problems ask anybody where the PANADERIA is and they will get you there with no problems. But please keep this a
secret, we let the other people go to the Boleo and pay too much money for not as good a bread.
