Google Earth 4.0 and OverLays

Hello!

Not many posts here yet but planning a couple trips over the next few years and 2 of those happen to be to Baja this summer for 3-4 weeks and another to Africa next year.

Tracks4Africa has an overlay on Google Earth that travelers can update routes, wells, info, etc. from the field via internet and a computer.

Wouldn't something like this be cool for this forum? If you have GE, check it out for yourself and by looking at the Continent you see the most current routes folks are taken, click the icon and get the update.

Slick...

I like to see what it would take to get it done. Everyone's trip reports that does the GPS thing could have their trip as part of an overlay.
