Bend To Baja

I came across this yesterday and really enjoyed the website. With my trip to Punta San Jose in the planning phase this really got me itching to get down there!

That was great. Thanks for passing it along.

I needed an hour break from the salt mines and now I want a surf.

DanO...I like your tag line. Reminds me of something I read years ago..."Fools rush in...and get the best seats."

Not only surfers, these guys are friggin' b-tchen"

Ah, to be rich, young, free and full of yourself with so much time. That you would think strangers would want to see eco-surfers-mountaineers and then bring Tecate beer to Oregon. My lord don't they know how it's produced? Just hope they remove those pesky pitons, wedges and gear from the rock faces.
Anyway, pretty cool presentation, just too much of "them"!!

Baja needs "less" presentations IMHO. Part of the allure for some is discovery. When someone shows and presents with such high end impact it does two things. For the uninitiated novice(of which there are millions) it entices them to follow like course, inadvertantly encouraging them to go to that place.

The other millions familiar with Baja would prefer to see it(new places) with their own eyes and keep the volume and squelch down.

So I guess the million dollar question is.....:lol:

Pitons in the rock Sharks??? You didn't see any hammers on their belts did you? Nuts and cams are WAY too expensive to leave behind. I'll bet you anything that the only thing these folks left on the face was chalk. Pitons (in the US) were becoming a thing of the past when I gave up the sport thirty years ago. Me thinks you do them a disservice. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting them.
