water temp. in bahia tortugas/asuncion

What is the typical water temp for bahia tortugas/asuncion in mid february? Is there any firewood available for cooking in those areas or do we need to bring our own?

Can't speak for the temps (I'd guess in the low 60s) but there is usually driftwood to be found on the beaches where I've camped. I've been out that way a number of times and always seemed to find wood.

The water is mid to high 60's and there is more cactus and brush above the high tide in the desert than on the beaches but depending on where you camp you can usually find something. We canshow you a couple secret spots where we camp that has lots of wood around and sheltered from the wind, very close to the surf break.
