Parking in La Paz

I'm planning on staying at a hotel in downtown La Paz for 3 nights during Carnaval. I'm a bit nervous about parking my 2005 Dodge truck on the street for 3 nights. Should I be concerned or not? Any specific or general advice?

mucho aprecia, Rob(erto)

So you plan on finding a parking place?;D

We've parked overnight a few times on N. Bravo, no problems. Where are you staying?

What hotel are you staying at? Most have some are for secure parking, although you may have to get your car in there real early.

Okay, parking issue is resolved. I'm staying at a small downtown B & B. I'll be picking up a friend at the airport. So, the plan is to park my truck at an RV park and take a bus or taxi to downtown B & B. Well worth it for the peace of mind!

Someone suggested I park in a estacionamiento publico for $40mxn per day/night. It's downtown and fenced with a locked gate overnight but no overnight attendant so I declined. Whereas the RV park has someone there 24/7.

Gracias for the replies! Rob
