I had DirectTv here and, as you know, it's pretty much useless now. I was going to switch to Dish but I didn't want to get the big antenna(s). I just installed StarChoice (Canadian) and am quite pleased. They have all of the networks, movies, Golf Channel, SuperStations, and HD - all on 1 small antenna. Call John at Los Cabos A/V, www.loscabosav.com and he can fix you up. It will cost you about $900 to get everything set up and programming starts at less than $20 month.

Dish Network in Cabo

Hi Bob,

Since you mentioned my name...

No, you can't get the Los Angeles Networks in Cabo on Dish Network. You can get the network channels from either New York, or San Francisco and Atlanta.

I don't know a lot about StarChoice but you can compare the programming and pricing offered by both. Dish Network is at http://www.dishnetwork.com. You should get a 1.2 meter antenna for Dish Network. 1.0 to 1.1 will work but you will lose some of the weaker channels, especially in the morning hours.
