Coco?

Anyone who has been through Coco's Corners lately have an idea if he is in need of anything?

Last time through it was 7 Up & 5/16" fuel line as recall. I did see a post recently about bandages or some such for his often infected leg.

We'll be through there around the 7th or 8th of next month.

Does anybody have an idea how old Coco is? He seems to have been around forever, kinda like Papa Fernandez.

stuff for coco

Here is an earlier post;

BTW, CoCo needs antibiotics and bandages. His "good" leg is badly infected after he took a knife to it in an attempt to play Doctor on himself.

My question is, What kind of antibiotics and bandages does Coco need?

I wonder if Coco knows how famous he is? :?:
Bob H

Edit: And, I also wonder how he got the nick name 'Coco'?

Passed through last Saturday (2/17/2007). Coco is great, and he knows how famous he is, let me tell you. I mentioned I had learned about him on the Nomads site and made sure my trip included a visit, he replied "ya, I'm famous". We spent about 45 minutes with him listening to stories and getting advice on the remainder of our journey. He was heading to GN the next day for meds.

He is in constant radio contact with Gonzaga and other remote locations. He is a great guy and makes for a memorable stop.

Any medical people here on the board know a type, or brand or strength????? If not we'll figure something out.

He gets his meds from the hospital in GN. what he needs is healthy foods. He has Diabetes big time and that is why he lost his foot. The other leg and foot will probaly need to be taken off in the not to distant future but they are doing what they can to keep it for as long as he can. He is very aware of his meds and takes them as prescribed. He needs low sugar and low carb foods. I have worked with CoCo for the last 8 years.
