Flights to Loreto?

I remember seeing a thread here about new flights to Loreto but can't seem to find it! We would love to fly out of San Diego but probably not possible.Next would be LAX (hate it!).Was it Delta or Alaska? And is there a better, cheaper day to fly? I have done some research already but would like to get some of your sage advice here, Nomads! thanks in advance, Sally

The new flights are Continental from Houston, starting in June. Currently we have Alaska from LAX, 4 days a week, and Daily flights by Delta, also from LAX. Aero Littoral from LAX via Hermasillo, more expensive I think.

Delta no longer has daily flights to Loreto. Tough to tell, but looks like they are down to 5 flights per week on small aircraft.

Yes, Delta dropped the Friday flights. Now six days a week.

Rumor had Aeromexico resuming the San Diego flights sometime in February. That rumor has now expired. ;D

Thanks Nomads, I was hoping to take my parents down over Easter week, staying at my son-in laws parents house at Juncalito. It seems as tho they are too worried about traveling and especially flying so the trip my be cancelled. However, I am still hoping to be able to join them in Juncalito, we will see as the prices of flights, travel time and (I hate LAX) inconvenience may factor in here...I reallly miss Loreto and Juncalito, the islands, fishing, snorkling.I think I may have just talked myself into going afterall!!:yes:I sure liked it when I could fly out of S.D., such a nice and easy airport! And yeah, Don, I found flights with Delta, changes planes, goes to Hermosillo or Pheonix, what a pain!Very pricey also.I will keep looking...
