From what I can gather the shellfish will feed on the cornmeal and change the contents of thier "stomachs" from a dark color to something more palatible. For what it's worth. Let me know if you try it.

i'm gonna try it. just wondering how much is too much? the color doesn't bother me, i usually scrape the stomach kinda clean. more concerned with sand!
