What kind of bug is this?
On our last trip to Pescadero in Todos Santos area we saw this insect on an inside wall of the home we were staying at. It is about 3 inches long.
Anyone know what it is?

yes halboo i think you are right. another word for them is giant crab spider. they are not harmful and they do catch alot of bugs and sometimes the
males hang out inside a house.

Had one in a room in the Los Arcos Annex in La Paz. Spotted him in 2 different places and was always gone by the time I found an object for
elimination Wife was in a tizzy. At 2 in the morning a bunch of fishermen made it into the unit next door. All of a sudden we heard lots of commotion with
plenty of heavy cursing " Look at the size of that MF er" among others. No doubt our pet had moved next door. Was good for a laugh though.

Thanks for the timely info. We have one on the (out)side of our casa in La Paz. He resides behind a steel wheel that is tight to the wall. He is very
docile, never moving much and ususally in the same upside down location. No, he is no muerto.
I do know that he will dispatch a c-ckroach. Muy bueno!
