Constancia de Percepciones y Ret Por Interes?

Hello,
I received from Banamex this statement that appears to have something to do with interest associated with my dollars account (which is a non interest account) for the year 2006. The $ they show sure don't have anything to do with any $ I have seen come or go in my account....
I have translated all the words but it still doesn't make sense to me.
Can anyone explain to me what this statement is?
Sorry I am a banking/finance (and Spanish) dummy.

Sounds like a confirmation or policy statement. It would be easier to figure out if we saw the rest of it or at least more of it.

All my childhood I wanted to be older. Now I\'m older and this chitn sucks.

CP...

Every time you make a transaction through your bank, they charge you a banking fee...

In March, Mexican banks have to make their profits report to the SAT (our IRS) in order to pay their annual taxes and revenues.

When this happens, the banks inform every client how much money they charged them through a "Informe de Percepciones y Retenciones". If you as a client also need to pay taxes to the SAT, this bank statement will be your proof of money paid in services to the bank, so you may deduct them from your taxes.

Hope this helps my friend.

BajaCactus! Thank you for that explanation. Now it all makes sense to me.

Oso - thank you for asking for more info; I was trying to reduce my scan to under50k when I received this response from BajaCactus.

Y'all are great out there in Nomad land. Always a big help to me.
