upstream

We took the dog upstream from the cave paintings on the Loreto/San Javier road.

Unfortunately a graffiti vandal recently visited the first pool, about 100ft above the cave paintings:

I think he calls himself "El Nacho"

Lots of water still...

I did.

Years ago. The graffiti wasn't there back then.

The water was bathtub warm and there were giant water beetles rowing around. They were black and the size of silver dollars.

The graffiti is new, perhaps it happened over the Semana Santa week. None on the cave paintings, fortunately. Just a little bit more spray paint vandalism showing up in Loreto, but we have a long ways until we're like La Paz.
