San Quintin to BOLA drive time
What's the approximate drive time from the north end of San Quintin to BOLA, assuming (a) we're traveling on a weekend morning, (b) there are no
checkpoints going south, and (c) we don't stop to eat or otherwise fart around?

You guys!
Soulpatch was much closer... as it is 217 miles from San Quintin to Bahia de los Angeles and if the person is traveling in a light vehicle (no
trailer, no RV) then 50 mph average is about the best to expect = 4 1/2 hours... with 5 hours +/- being a much better bet!

DanO, your scenario is unrealistic as you MUST stop for huevos rancheros at Nuevo Chapala. Can be finished in a half hour.

If you don't stop to fart around then at least roll down the windows.

DanO, huevos may be one of the only Mexican dishes that you cant do justice to while on the road. You simply must sit down to get through the "soup"
created by breaking the runny eggs.
Alternative: ask if you can buy some of their ranchero sauce and take it with you to BOLA. The sauce is the whole attraction.

Oh PLEASE... Boring??? NO WAY... The best desert landscape in North America!!! With palm oasis along the way, too!
How can you not love the boojums and giant cardons? It's like you are on another planet!
If the little bumps that slow the semis down bothers you, then how can you handle a washboard road? El Rosario was the one town that most needed
topes, and was the last one to get some put in. I think it is still just one real tope with the washboard added.
Before the semis would cruise down the grade and jake brake to wake the dead... No mas!! Public safety and better night's sleep at the two motels
between the Pemex and the 90 degree curve.
