I agree... Much bigger bang for the buck if you ask me. Great truck for a great price. In the used truck arena the pricing is even better for what
you get.

...so, really, do I have permission to look at that awesome white Ford F150 that Fish$$ found for me in Rancho Cucamongo? Its a little over my
budget, but whenever I really really want something - I figure out a way. The only thing I don't like about Fish$$, is that he wanted me to "lose the
dog." The friend, I understand, but the dog? Who doesn't like a smiling dog?

Ya, it's a cute dog alright. Okay, the dog can go. That's why ya gotta have extracab. Doggie can ride back there and smile all the way to Loreto.
Make that guy an offer on the truck. Try 5500-6000. All he can do is say no. And you can always throw in that extra girlfriend you don't need anymore.

Fish, i really, really like that Ford F150...can't wait to see it...who knows, you might be my hero afterall? how fun would be to get to the Pyramid
in my new toy Ford? anyway, the mechanic has to approve, but it looks like the exact thing I was hoping to find...and I have a teenage son who wants
a car, and this might be the thing to keep him safe, too. muchas gracias amigo...

I just looked at that white Ford
again and unless something is wrong with it $6700 is a fair price for that truck.
I know because I have a 99 just like it but 2wd and V6 with a 5 speed. I just smogged and registered mine today and am going to advertise it for
$6000.
Mines not anywhere near as nice as the white one. It also as 124,000 miles.
Anyway good luck!

Havent seen the white Ford post, but make sure it is the XLT or Lariat package. Dont get the bare bones, work truck models from any of the big Three;
less insulation, cheaper seats, fewer (or zero) creature comforts.
ASK WHAT HAS BEEN REPLACED. ASK FOR RECEIPTS FOR CLAIMED WORK.
I am a confirmed used truck buyer, but only after finding one that someone had cared for and documented. It's so easy to find someone selling one
cheap because there is a bambino on the way and the wife is done bouncing around on SoCal freeways.

Gonna stick with the Silverado 4x4 for a while. It's one tuff piece of
machinery. Good to go long after some of those dinky rigs are belly-up.
One problem, it doesn't get many miles to the gallon.

I have a 1987 Nissan pathfinder 4x4 that I put 350000 miles
on. I stopped using it because after 12years and that many
miles the suspension rubber components were wornout by ozone and use. The price of gas also figured in. It never got better than 20MPG on the freeway,
but would get 16 to 18mpgs
when packed up for trips to baja. Standard transmission and
5speed of course. The Nissan automatic is not worth a darn.
I am quite happy with my 4wd 1995 diesel Chevy Suburban.
Finally enough room for my baja stuff and two or three other
passengers. Not to mention the ability to tow most rigs without a drastic increase in fuel consumption. I bought the truck used and it now has 187,000
on it. Still gets 18MPG on
the freeway. real good for a truck that weighs as much as it does. With the 40 gallon tank it makes for only a couple
of gas stops for most trips up to G. Negro. At $2.00 a gallon
in Mexico, diesel is the way to go if you have to tow.
