Body Work
Finally leaving Vegas in a few days and heading South. Plan just to lay back on the Pacific Ocean somewhere, but I do need to have the sliding door
on my 79 VW Westfalia repaired. You nomads have been great with a lot of topics and I hope to meet some of you. But, can anybody give me a good body
shop lets say from Maneadero to Guerrero Negro. I am really laid back, so I never have any plans as to how far I go. So any town in between would be
great. Thanks in advance............................Fred

Body Work
Ummm...this is just a guess about why no response yet, but when I saw your title, "Body Work," I thought it was going to be a request for info about
massage and/or chiropractic care in Baja - but then, I'm a northern California kind of gal. Zoe

I've never had body work done in Baja, but I wouldn't mind having some work done on my VW bus. In bouncing around ideas of what it would cost, I
considered that environmental and other regulations are less stringent in Mexico, the average wage per hour is a fraction of that of the U.S., there
are not a lot of parts involved in body work as there is in mechanics, shop rent is less. By taking these factors into consideration, I deduce that
the cost of bodywork in Baja would be approximately equal to that in the U.S. - maybe more.
