Pompano Fish? Report May 12, 2007

(Post 1 of 4)

I have to say right off..today was not one of our best fish-catching days on the water.

First - we had to wait past the prime bait-catching time for our buddy who was late.

Second - noticing us sitting in the boat at the ramp, he realizes he's late, so he rushes....and forgets the damn sandwiches in his pickup. (I am always hungry in a boat.)

I do what the voices in my tackle box tell me.

Third - when we finally caught this single small dorado and he says he wants it for his dinner..he fumbles and drops the fish back into the ocean...sigh.

So we didn’t catch many fish...who cares? All in all, it was another great day on the water with good friends and some belly-laughs. And, of course, happy hour awaited us at the Jungla!

The End.

Why is Jungle Jim's so crowded? WOW!

Great fish report.

The SAME boiling water that softens the potato hardens the egg. It's about what you are made of NOT the circumstance.
