It would be convenient to find it in an easy to find place in Encenada or somewhere else on the way to Bahia Asuncion. However, have not been to
Loreto in a while, so that is a possibility. Thanks

There is a wacky wicker type place
on the La Gloria Rd up a couple of miles on the left hand side of the street when coming from Rosarito. Don't know the name but looks like a nice
store.k

Lencho, I can't speak for B & S's bamboo furniture, but a couple years ago we had a hairbrained idea to import ironwood roof shingles from
Indonesia down to us at Pta. Pequeña (BCS) so we could design something besides a flat concrete roof for the casita.
We were at the mercy of the established routes the shipping companies followed and the route in to Ensenada stopped in L.A. first. Getting the stuff
to Ensenada was not a problem by ship, but trying to coordinate the freight forwarding from Ensenada to La Paz, then the trailer reloaded to a
different truck to bring it up the Dirt road to our place proved to be impossible to coordinate from up in Calif.
The other option was to have the ship take the cargo all the way to Lazaro Card##as, then find a freight forwarding/ trucking company to haul it back
up and over to La Paz. The whole thing proved too difficult to coordinate for me a novice, especially the ferry trip across with the cargo.
Our situation was more a logistical nightmare than import costs being too steep. I always wonder how the ricos, whose decked out home I see in
photos, get all that cool stuff down to them, and over from the mainland.
Diane, maybe you could u2u bajabound2005. She had some nice looking stuff posted for sale a few months ago that I think she got in Ensenada. Maybe she
has some secret spots.

it is VERY easy to get a container from another country nto the USA

Thanks Diver, How did you find that one? I keep trying to find businesses in places like Tecate or Ensenada and all I come up with are offers to buy
Mexican phone books.
That one sounds interesting.
