A $10,000 reward was offered Thursday for information leading to the arrest of whoever fatally beat and strangled a Vista woman, whose body was found at a Baja California campground last year.
Thursday, May 24, 2007
The body of Jane Kling, 68, was found in Mexico on March 24, 2006.

On Tuesday, March 14, 2006, Kling was last seen in a grocery store in Oceanside. Ten days later, Kling was found dead about 45 miles south of San Felipe, with her Dodge Caravan nearby. Investigators believe Kling's body may have been there for up to five days.

Prior to the murder, Kling was seen with a heavyset woman who spoke English at the Hotel Costa Azul in San Felipe. Mexican authorities released a sketch of the woman (shown below) who's wanted for questioning in connection with her death. Anybody with information on the crime is being asked to call Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-TIPS.

In addition to the $1,000 offered by Crime Stoppers, the Kling family is offering $9,000 for information that leads to the arrest of the persons responsible for this crime.
