Why do you always preface a statement about LB with "I don't have anything to do with LB"? Are you a LB employed sociopath on a guilt trip? "Meds" can do strange things. ;)

Kinda like "Innocent until proven guilty"? ;D

well that's part of what I said but not all of it. what about the victim? she didn't ask for harassment and was only trying to do her job. I also believe in innocent until proven guilty but like Dennis says he ended up in front of a judge for a reason. now if this kind of accusation is "so common" then it should be reasonable to assume that a good portion of the men on this board have also been (falsely or otherwise) accused of this activity. now of course thats unreasonable to assume that because it ain't true. there was likely a reason this guy ended up in the pokey. if he did any of these things then good riddance!

I guess the thing that really bothers me most is the mentality of some of the newcomers to Loreto who are wealthy. They think that their money can buy anything and everyone and that it will make them above the law and that their actions won't be questioned and that they can get away with anything they want. The natives are so naive they think...well think again. Good for the DA! He is a good man and helped us when we needed it too last year.

Wow, Pam, you said a mouthful - "I believe in innocent until proven guilty, BUT"? BS - you obviously don't. Yes, he ended up in front of a judge for a reason - that reason may have NOTHING to do with being guilty of the crime. Everything you say points to pre-judging the case. Says a lot - everything I need to know, as a matter of fact.

You're debating ghosts.

Innocent until proven guilty?

In Mexico?

Isn't it the other way around?

Psst... Pass it on

All I said was that it doesn't say Comondu, and it wasn't even in the Comondu section, it was in the policiaca section.
This is getting funny, as a story, it reminds me of a game we played once about paying attention, at the end the story gets pretty funny and twisted arround, we now even have Loreto belonging "kinda" to Comondu  Loreto has been a municipality since 1992:lol:

Players sit in a circle. The group leader will begin whispering a short paragraph
including names and details into the ear of the player next to him. At the end of the
story, the group leader says "Pass It On..." The next players then relays the story
to the person next to him and so forth. No one is allowed to repeat what was said.
Each player must speak clearly and each player must listen carefully to what was said.
Encourage players to repeat what they "heard". The last player stands up and relates
the story, ending with "Pass It On." The results are often hilarious.

How do you really know there is a victim??? This is Mexico, before you speak negative against anyone, please provide facts and or proof. Do not reply on a Mexican newspaper.

Ok so I made a mistake as to which section I last looked at before I posted it. irrevelant. so why don't you do a direct translation of this story it isn't very long and allow readers to make thier own decision. you know mine, don't call me for jury duty

A guilt-ridden sociopath on meds?? For refusing to participate in the electronic lynching of someone who may or may not have done something illegal I am personally attacked. Interesting. Fun thread here.

Oops, I had a feeling I'd end up with egg on my face for that post. When a neighbor ran for presidente last election he campaigned in lots of rural places. and I thought Comondu was one of them. So is Comondu a part of the municipality of Loreto? :?::?::?:

And now I can't even seem to get my comments out of the quote box?? When you find yourself in a hole....

Paula,

when you hit the quote button code will appear in the box where you type your text. Make sure you type your text after the </quote> tag (that part in quotes is called a tag in program language). IN html the tags being with < and end with > but in this bb code they begin with [ and end with ]. A diagonal line inside a tag is a closing tag kind of like the period at the end of a sentence. You can get really creative but keep in mind that the tags are nested which means you can put quotes inside of other quotes but you'll have to follow the logic or it won't look right. Just keep note of which </quote> belongs to the beginning tag the same tag as above but without the diagonal line. If you want I can show you. I'm at the shop every afternoon 3-9 and 4-9 on saturdays, cerrado sundays.

had to edit because when you type the bb equavalent of <quote> you get this
