Flights to Loretto

Has anyone noticed the flight prices into Loretto have increased while the number of direct flights in from San Diego have decreased? Anyone have any thoughts on how to get some better deals than $370 return?

Also, is anyone keeping track somewhere of the airlines that fly into loretto?

Oh and to preempt an answer to my first question... learning to fly is currently out of the question ;)

thoughts-

Delta and Alaska fly non-stop from Los Angeles, most days.

Continental has just begun service from Houston.

Aero Mexico/Aero Litoral flys from Los Angeles with a stop in Hermasillo. Aero Mexico seems to be more expensive. And they used to operate the flights from San Diego, since cancelled. There are currently no flights from San Diego that I am aware of, no service from low-cost Mexican airlines (Avolar, Volaris, Aero California), and no service from Tijuana.

Prices are volatile. Helps to plan ahead and be flexible. Sometimes.

Loreto Bay seems to be cutting back on expenses, maybe they have stopped subsidizing the airlines. This is their slow season. It's tough to sell a house in a hotter than hell desert during the summer.

Hi David -

Yes it is, however in my defense, I find my spelling in inversely proportional to my sons attention span while trying to type ;-)

all my best-
