Illegal Aliens Attempt To Sneak Into The U.S. Under The Hood

6/28/2007
NBC -- Three people wrapped themselves around the hot engine of a truck in a desperate attempt to enter the United States.

These pictures from U.S. Customs and Border Protection show how agents found the three, two women and a man, stuffed into the engine compartment of a pickup truck.

According to agents, the truck's driver was trying to head into the U.S. from Mexico at the Otay Mesa border crossing in California.

One of the women was treated for burns on an arm, a leg, and her abdomen.

The driver is charged with alien smuggling.

I saw this happen in Capo Beach thirty years ago. A pickup pulled into the alley behind my house, parked and opened the hood. A man uncoiled himself and got out. I doubt that he had been in there since Mexico, probably just to get through San Onofre. Of course it was an older truck. Lots of room under the hood.

No. I wouldn't either. I asked him if he was alright and he nodded, going into an explaination that he was looking for some guy he had heard of who could teach him to make Pastrami sandwiches. He went on to say that everything was worth the risk if only he could meet his teacher, who's name was Dave and he said it with reverence. He wandered off.

We vote for smuggling Bush, Cheney, and Gonzales out this way with Monica Goodling driving---that is if she knows how. Then if she breaks any traffic laws, she can say she didn't mean to do so and it will all be OK. Ann Coulter would make a fine hood ornament.:spingrin:
