Sewage woes in San Jose
Bajajudy
A friend in TS was saying that there are some big problems downtown with "leaking sewage"? Got the scoop????
Remember, when in Mexico, yes may be no and no may be
maybe!

Nope but I got the poop
Just kidding. As far as I am concerned there is always a sewage problem downtown. I have never gone by the treatment plant that I didnt want to gag.
Today I did notice a bunch of Fonatur guys in the road and water everywhere but I didnt smell anything. Of course I had just passed the plant so my
nose may have already been so offended that it missed a small leak.
Downtown is a mess. They are closing off the road where the fountains used to be(to put another fountain in...duh) and Zaragoza is closed that last
block. This is permanent. So from now on, you will come down Zaragoza(that is the street that starts in front of the Pemex) and you will have to
take a right at the church. That road will become a nightmare. Maybe they have a plan....yea right. One of our customers who has a shop downtown
has been asking the city for years to put some public bathrooms in but are there any in these new plans....nope

Thanks Judy.
Knew you would have the poop...oops, scoop!!!
We have neglected visiting downtown San Jose because of the horror of those
downtown roads. Too bad because I love wandering around there. Will have to
schedule a few more "overnights" ... always need a good reason!!!!

How else would you be sure you were in Mexico if you didn't smell the occasional broken sewer, burning pile of tires or my favorite the local dump.
Oh! lookie there, I've been promoted. My mother would be so proud.

Sounds familiar.
The other day I was at a job site and caught a wiff of something familiar. At first it was a pleasant reminder of another place - it reminded me of
the campground at La Ventana. Then I realized it was an open sewer I was smelling !!
