New casita nearly done...if only the yellow tail would stop biting!
Now that abalone season is over, Juan is working hard to finish our new rental casita here on the point. You can see the new and growing jdtrotter
fortress in the background, through the porch view too!
Problem is that these darn Nomads keep showing up wanting to catch yellow tail...gee whiz...Juan is out right now looking for the brother to
Iflyfishes big boy! And David K and his angel and square cirlce showed up yesterday too and have been enjoying our lovely village. We are off to San
Roque for some boogie boarding and maybe a halibut.

Finished painting yesterday and put all the windows in...looks like a real casa now...Juan painted the trim sky blue, he's going for that
Mediterranean look and will put in a laja rock patio too. Next up is finishing the bathroom, score some furniture and we'll be ready to rent by
October....or so! From up there you can see both our spread as well as Trotters hacienda and as far as San Roque...super nice view indeed.

Hey! the trim sky (in the photo) is already blue. Tell Juan not to touch it. It is perfect the way it is!
Seriously, I love the casita and its view, and everything you are doing there, Shari. One of these trips, I hope to swing by there to meet you and
experience your slice of heaven. Hello to the other Nomads who are there now.
Saludos,
Tony

Well, compared to the little shack in the foreground, any closer to "Fort Trotter" I would think it was the outhouse.

Just kidding mstrotter...no worries..I always thought the design of the house looked like a fortress(before you moved in) and your new wall and guest
house gives it a hacienda type look...don't get me wrong I LOVE IT and think you are doing exactly the right thing...its going to be fabulous and I'm
soooo glad you bought that place and are fixing it up nice. It will be the lovliest home in the village.

No worries fdt, it is private goading between Jorgie and Shari.
It means "Move your butt !"
But you'll have to guess about the actual "what" is the subject.

Congrats on casitas/fortresses/haciendas/tents. I like the independant spirit expressed in designs in Baja.

Sometimes I don't even "get" what Jorge is ranting about! I know he wants us to hurry up and finish his place in the sun but I have no idea what the
"dime" is? Well....jorge? translation por favor. Juans says to tell ya he's busy fishing...your fault for giving him that gear. Should finish this week...(ya right) if more nomads don't show up. The latest drop
in was frigatbird and his amigo...it's always soooo interesting meeting new compas and hearing their stories...our family get together was astounded
when he told them he jumped off of mountains with just some big bird wings strapped on him....good thing they had seen it on TV before but they were
amazed to meet one of these strange birds in person....gotta love sharing cultures.

Hi Shari,
Please check your U2U...
Thanks for showing us a good time and making sure we didn't starve (although I doubt if that is possible in Mexico!)...
You have a special place in the world and you are so kind to share it with the Nomads!
David
