Bringing tofu down to Baja
I'm not sure if this question has been asked before, but does anyone know if bring tofu products down is allowed? Do to recent health issues I can't
eat meat anymore I have tried seafood, and am able to eat a little bit, but I will
need to bring all my hippy food down. Will it be confiscated?

We will be going to Shari and Juan's for a few days to BOLA to dive with whale sharks, and then onto Mulege, I will try to stop at Costco, if I can't
bring my stuff with me.

I think you have never been safer with a border crossing in your life, if they want it make them taste it first.

That was what I was worried about!!!!, I know it is a silly question, but I was
just wondering. I do agree about having them taste it, but that to might have me thrown in jail, cause they thought I was poisining them!!!!

Don't be concerned about it. Those border guys know what tofu is, besides, they arn't going to be digging around in your food.

Could you pack a few extra tetrapack tofus for me too and I love those tofuweiners...you wont have a problem...why don't you just take the airport
road a few miles before the GN border...turn right at the airport sign and just go through GN...no worries.

FYI, I was amazed at the food selection at the Walmart in Ensenada. They had many health foods which I would never expect to find at a Walmart.

Been Hauling Stuff Down
...for several years.
The only time the migra has been interested about my cargo was when I had computer equipment and 300 lbs. of dog food (they thought I was going to
resell the items).
I just showed them the repair tickets for the computers and pictures of the rottweilers, German Shepherd and the Great Dane.
They responsed, "Pasale!"
