I don't mean to be ignorant FDT, but what does the classification 'Bombas' mean? My high school spanish isn't translating this.

OK smarties - why would a bank branch be pumping water or exploding bombs? I'm serious. I'm trying to break out of my textbook spanish and I can't think of a modismo that explains this.

you enter banorte
then baja california sur
and then La Paz

then looked at other banks and they are also under bomas, probably missfed into the telmex system. :?:

I've been told the 16 de Septiembre branch handles the fideicomisos. I found a number for the branch online, but thought maybe someone knew if the manager has a direct line.

The Bank number listed online is different than the one you posted Larry. I'll be calling from Calif. and I'll try both numbers tomorrow.

Thanks for looking it up.

Oh, this is classic: I just received paper version of the 2007-2008 phone directory TODAY, and looking in the yellow pages under "BOMBAS/PUMPS" (Bilingual-- cool) the first two entries are.... (ta daaaa):

Afore BBVA Bancomer

Banorte

Thank you Larry,

My accounts are at BBVA Bancomer in the US and I was hoping there was a Bancomer branch in La Paz. You have now answered my question.
