Landlord pay damages??

I know sound's like a joke, not even real raining yet but like to get some advise up front. Rain come in at 2 rooms in house via ceiling. Last year 1800,-$ damage. Landlord fix roof on house he just had remodeled.
Now 2 hours rain same doodoo. What legal means do I have in sense of reducing rent or ask for compensation if there is any damage to my belongings. Just curious....

I think it would be like going outside, facing the oncoming hurricane and taking a leak.

Never mind the beers, what are U smokin>? How long have U lived in MX/.? When my house got robbed the landlord expected for me to pay for the damage the thieves did to the house. His reasoning was,"if no one lived there they wouldn't have bothered to rob it'. My answer was,' that can be arranged".

Common sense would suggest you move your belongings...

In this situation I think it's reasonable for the landlord to assume house repair costs. I doubt you could convince him that he's responsible for your belongings, especially if damaged by an "act of God" such as water falling out of the ceiling...

--Larry

Common sense put to work YESTERDAY Larry, was more a rhetorical question.

Diver: doubt that... he's so tight, he pushes a piece of coal mornings in a body opening and at lunch time it's a diamond.....
